working to advance community-informed, significant social change
adaptive strategy, policy work, community dialogue, and art.
As a Washington, D.C.-based artist and organizer, my work is rooted in the belief that community dialogue and engagement, art, and systems change can be thoughtfully combined to transform lived conditions and eradicate systemic racism. My mixed Dominican and Colombian background is an intrinsic career inspiration: fueling everything from my multifaceted artistic practice to racial equity consulting focused on Black and Indigenous communities and organizations.
As a consultant, I design and lead large-scale racial equity projects that advance the goals of BIPOC organizations and communities. My skills span executive strategy and advising, project management, cross-cultural dialogue facilitation, community organizing, and coalition building -- all with racial equity as an innate process and goal. I founded Empactify, LLC to offer these consultations formally. As Empactify’s Principal Consultant, I lend support to grassroots and Black- and Indigenous-led organizations on initiatives centering racial equity.
I hold a Master’s in Social Welfare with a concentration on communities, organizations and policy from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Art from the University of Miami, and a certificate in Strategic Management from Georgetown University.
I look forward to connecting with you.
